Basically just went there for summer festival…




A homestay program in Takaoka, a small neighbourhood 1hr from where i live. This town is soooooo small, people here greet each other wherever whenever… Even Mera-san (a relative from Brazil who lives in Shizuoka) said …”omg… everyone greets each other ne… aiya… cannot do bad things here wei….”
chor dai dee had never been this fun for me…

This entry will include some Manglish. I have translated the dialogues into Manglish.
4 people were on the way to the beach inside a car....
Out of curiosity, I asked my Korean friend:
Kok Hong: eh nuno,...
Yun Hee: Nuna laa...! (Nuna is jie jie in Korean)
Kok Hong: oh okok, nuna... i wanna know, ...how common is plastic surgery in Korea...
Yun Hee: hmm,.. lemme see... among my friends... uh... most of them did it... Oh wait.... hmmm..... (5secs later) .... ALL did it...lol...
Kok Hong: haaa??! ... why??
Yun Hee: nola, plastic surgery... ... wait... i don't think its even called a surgery...
Kok Hong: What, just patch something there is it?
Yun Hee: yaa... its so simple, the doctor just attach something, inject, and finish... its cheap actually... i think hmm...out of 10 girls,... i think ALL 10 did it...
Yun Hee: aiya... i think i wanna do also la...
Kok Hong: where?
Someone taught me how to get free groceries!
