Wood Chem 1

Today's routine for my experiment was sooo boring ..... I could've died in the lab....
Literally....
Here's how....

I've been here for 2 years now, and I am proud to say that I've taught the Japanese people on how to do things quite a number of times.
I taught them , what we Malaysians call it ...  "common sense".

Well of course I learnt a lot from them too... HEAPS ... but anyway, some of the things I've taught them are really .....well... common sense...

here's a comic strip which I've drawn .... PLEASE COMMENT!! MY BLOG IS DYING !!!

happy cny

Its the time of year again when everyone come together for a meal and share stories while I (used to) sit there and wait for my red packets to come....

The plum blossoms outside the lecture hall window has bloomed once again ...
And exams............

Some parts of my lab work can be seriously dead free.

At one point, I cycled home, ate some bread and brought my laptop to the lab.

Then typed my report until my battery died 3 hrs later...

And eventually I had a conversation with my groupmate ...

Summer trip - 3rd leg

(most of the photos here were taken by Ken Han)
It looks something like this.

leg3

YH means Youth Hostel, where we lived. We walked to Akihabara (2km) to save on transportation. Then took a train down to Tokyo station. There we walked around the station and finally made our way to the Imperial Palace.

Then, (instead of spending on subway), we walked to Ginza (1.2km)

I'm home, after a 28 day trip abroad. I left on the 13th of August, on board a ferry bound for Osaka.

first leg

Its funny how that thing is called a ferry ... I was expecting something like the Penang ferry because I guess that is a typical image of a ferry in Malaysian people's minds. Open up a pre-schoolers' textbook and I can assure you that the yellow box on water will be in there, and labelled as ferry.

That yellow thing in the picture is the ferry I've imagined earlier... its not a sponge

I was at Shibuya just the other day. I was supposed to go to a store and that store is inside a building called Kouji Building. So the fella at the store gave me directions and he told me to look for Seibu dept store, then Loft dept store and I will come across this Kouji Building, which is in between Seibu and Loft.
