Tropical nights

Picture taken at 1.40am.
I fell asleep at around 12 but woke up again because it was too hot. I couldn't go back to sleep. Kitchen was sealed off because of bug bomb. Nothing cold to drink, so I went down to the supermarket (24hr service is so cool).

Bought a soda ice cream, lemon sherbet and a frozen isotonic drink. Ate my ice cream inside the supermarket....

Malaysia may be hot... but at least the houses are made to suit that sort of weather and at least it will turn below 30C just after dark!

Gearing up after Osaka

| | Comments (5)

I've just returned from the education fair at Osaka and brought home plenty of university prospectuses.

Time is drawing closer... It's not gonna be easy. I'll be competing with the bird brained Mainlanders and Vietnamese for a scholarship, and then competing with the Japanese students for a place in Graduate School.

but first... my thesis... even before that... my exams!!

Not easy.. but till today, determination has never stopped me from getting what I want. Don't wish me luck. Please pray for me instead. haha....

Anyway, some photos from my trip to and from Osaka.... no photos of my friends from Pre-U cos i didn't use my camera for that...

First of all, I express my gratitude for getting a scholarship. FINALLY! ... after 3 years of pain in the butt cramming...
It's not much, but still better than not receiving at all.

Then I have a presentation on Thursday to prepare for and a test on Friday and Monday.

A weekend getaway

I went to town last weekend to get some info about my new phone but it turned out that poor people like me who signed up for student plan don't deserve a new phone.

Anyway I'll talk about my journey in this post and attach heaps of photos since jit meng MING is interested.

Soil erosion

A clip we saw in class (Erosion Control) the other day. Just felt like sharing it. It's only one minute... watch it.

Question : Do you have second thoughts of investing in these areas?
ok, keep quiet and concentrate on my report. I also have a test on Friday.

The yellow spot is where I live

The 4th earthquake I've experienced within 25 months. This is the strongest. My wall mirror was swaying and glass door to my balcony was vibrating. The floor was moving and it felt as though the whole building was hula dancing. Amazingly nothing fell from my shelf nor my table. I think the water inside my toilet bowl was splashing around..

Fun at first, so I grabbed my camera but by the time I switched it on, the shaking stopped. lol...
But seriously, not the shaking, but the sounds were scary.

Yes, this entry is made for you ... Sakura, cherry blossom!

After so many months where the temperature was always below 10C or 15C all day, it has finally reached 21C today.
Spring is here... I officially welcome the bugs and cockroaches!

I am 20. But many told me age is just a number.
