The nightmare has begun ... Internship ... It started off with first briefings this afternoon. 

Seriously ... I don't see the need of those 4 celebrities being featured in these documents.

A clip we saw in class (Erosion Control) the other day. Just felt like sharing it. It's only one minute... watch it.

Question : Do you have second thoughts of investing in these areas?

ok, keep quiet and concentrate on my report. I also have a test on Friday.

I will be in KL from the night of August 15th till the evening of September 20th, and between that I will be off to many exotic places. 

The news will reach me either tonight, tomorrow or next week.

I foresee sleepless nights ... 

18th : Yesterday night I dreamt 3 times in my sleep. The first two was about me getting the good news. The last one was opposite. Then the reality came... I am one of the 70+ out of 90+ hopeful applicants who failed ... 

I'm going off to apply for another one tomorrow cos apparently I was shortlisted by the uni again. The stipend is half of the first one, but it is of course better than nothing. 

I lost the ability to write now cos I've been crossing my fingers for too long ..hehe

Someone (not my mom) told me to cut my hair. So, should I :

1. Cut it super short. 

2. Leave the length but keep it into a nice shape.

3. Leave it that way.

PLEASE DECIDE FOR ME!

I've been a fan of maps since young and as far as I recall, the first map I've analyzed was the map of Peninsular Malaysia, back in primary school. The things I did with it was memorizing the interchanges along the PLUS Highway. But of course, I've forgotten most of it by now. Where is Taiping ah? in Famosa?? ... owh well... hahahaa...

Then in Primary School, I played computer games like Theme Hospital, Sim City, Sim Town, Sims and Roller Coaster Tycoon... anything that involved realistic mapping and construction.

Then ... I got myself obsessed with subway networks somewhere in Standard 6 when I got to know about the London Tube... and that obsession continues till today- Yamanote Line in Tokyo. Simply stunning ... 

Anyway, its getting out of topic. I'm going to talk about drawing maps - something I learn in Forest Surveying

Today's routine for my experiment was sooo boring ..... I could've died in the lab....

For every 3~5 meters (I counted) I will stop because I still can't control my breathing....

I'm addicted to the pool now... I need to go again!!!

The thing that kept me going was that someone, who lived on my floor over the last term, is working there as a lifeguard and was watching me embarrassing myself... That kept me going... and I did it!!

I don't know what stroke I was doing, so don't ask...

I was sick for exactly one week.
