I once said I had 3 aims to achieve by this day.
1. Read Hangul - done
2. Swim - I propelled a few inches forward and sank in front of other aunties.
3. Earn ¥60K - done

And from this day onwards, I am occupied ... Thanks to Zhi How and Siang Ling.

Stunning..

I just realized that it is once again, the season when the SPM and STPM exam results are released.
So after stalking Pn. Tay's (my school teacher) facebook photos of the release of results, I dropped by at the school's website and read the bulletin in there to get the details

37As in SPM is nothing compared to this fella and the effort of Ms Cheang + Cik Nur Fatihah ... in my opinion

Gee....

Someone stop me... It's addictive!
I did not know about the existence of this song but thanks to 2 person (or make that 3) who started playing this song instead of helping my friend clear his house, I got addicted to it now.

After so many months where the temperature was always below 10C or 15C all day, it has finally reached 21C today.
Spring is here... I officially welcome the bugs and cockroaches!

Busiest week so far...
5th : 0900 ~ 1830
6th : 0900 ~ 1730
7th : 0900 ~ 1630
8th : 0900 ~ 1915
9th : 0930 ~ 1900
10th : 0930 ~ 1830

all including a 30 min lunch break
Imagine, walking and standing, putting on a smile for 6 to 10 hrs a day, saying the same things over and over, repeating the same routine... Working is sometimes fun, but not easy ...
Finally, one day off tomorrow and then ...

12th : 0530 ~ 1700 with 30min ~ 1hr lunch break.

I'm thankful that I have a job over the holidays. It's hard but at least I'm not rotting at home...

I was scolded by my senior in front of few others and my employer for putting one hand into the pocket while standing, waiting for customers during my job. The other hand was holding a file.

Ok, my wrong ...

Then I came home and checked my mail... I won an essay contest ! ¥30,000 (rm1000) !!!! Of course I will be heart-broken if the excellent prize winners are mainlanders. Why do they always have to win in everything?!!!
4 excellent prizes (50K) and 10 honorary prizes (30K)...
My air ticket to Tokyo at the end of the month is now free!

Now I wait for my scholarship announcement ...

If there is war ...

Of course I am concern about this issue. Furthermore, Kyushu is so close to the peninsula. (don't talk about china). How do Koreans even live without worrying.

If there is war, there will be :
no more Gimbap to eat,
no more Samsung to use,
no more Hyundai to drive,
no more dbsk, suju, big bang etc to listen to (because they will go to war!!) *hint fans out there*,
no more LG to play with,
no more Hangul podcast to listen to,
no more cutting edge plastic surgery technology to beautify people
no K-pop to listen to,
no K-dramas to watch,
no more Seoul ...

... no more koreans friends ...

If the North just nuked everything up... the story of the existing S.Korea would only be told like a fairy tale.

Gimbap

Korean traditional roasted seaweed is called Gim (Kim) - 김
Japanese traditional seaweed is called Nori - のり

And, Kim is a million trillion times tastier than Nori... Eat that fact and digest it properly!!
There is a difference. Kim is roasted with sesame oil and salted, a bit wet.
Nori will easily shatter into small pieces.

In this entry, I will show you how to make Gimbap, my style. Seaweed rolls aka Futomaki Korean style
