My friends and I had a christmas meal at the dormitory hall just last week.

2 stories to be told in this entry...

1. Anaba.
It is translated as, a spot unknown to common people but a spot where everyone should know because it is wonderful. It is directly translated as... hole-place

This is what I meant :

We invited a Jap friend who is a medic student. And he brought some of his friends too, whom we met for the first time.

Being the fact that we had Koreans, Taiwanese, Thai, Jap, Msians in the gathering, my friend suggested that our new friends should take a guess on what our nationalities are.

For the (probably the 5th time), I am from Taiwan.

So we Malaysians tested them when we revealed ourselves.

Mal : Where are we from?
Med : China ...
Mal : south ...
Med : Laos...
Mal : sideways...
Med : Thailand ...
Mal : South ...
Med : uh... Indonesia
Mal : no, up north..
Med : Brunei (BRUNEI?! they know Brunei!!)
Mal : somewhere there...
Med : *draws a map in the air* .... Thailand!
Mal : below ...
Med : *whispers among themselves* ... isn't that the ocean?
Mal :  ...

I forgot how it ended...

I would forgive anyone who actually said that. Afterall, I've only heard about Malaysia in the news twice after spending 2 years here. I have accepted the fact that Malaysia is still a developing country, on par with Brazil and South Africa... no matter how advance our IT field is.

1. Opposition taking over the majority of the Parliament seats.
2. Japanese beaten up during the Olympic torch relay in KL.

But the fact that even medic students said that is just heartbreaking...

Another news :

IMG_2761         I made wedges.

Its Paprika wedges, but I've wasted well over 200yen buying that stupid Paprika because it is tasteless...
