Shopping Spree
It acually happened last tuesday on the 29th.
I attended a class as usual. (Japanese Affairs, or something like that, i can't translate properly)
This class is only attended by foreign students and there's only the 7 of us; 3 Chinese, 3 Koreans and me :)
Then, sensei suddenly suggested to go for a shopping spree at Yamada Denki !!
because ...
You see, the Japanese government subsidizes an amount of RM700+ annually for every privately financed foreign student. With that amount of money, you're supposed to buy educational materials like reference books etc.
My sensei somehow had a lot of remainding money cos the student he was in charge of did not use it. (or something like that) ...
Who cares ... the point is .... FREE SHOPPING !! ... AT YAMADA DENKI!!
....................................... all of us rode his car and off we went off ...........................
He told us we could buy anything... within that 700bucks...
* so happy i couldn't laugh; therefore, sumersault around*
went to look at vacuum cleaners ... ( i seriously needed that ok )
sensei told me, ... "no... vacuum cleaners will be rejected by the govt. Its not educational supporting items."
Well,... fine, i bought this...
.... the chinese girl bought it and happily, excitedly told me sensei allowed... I literally went crazy!
(now you know what that zoomed in pic was, it wasnt a phone, pregnancy test nor ruler...)
.
And the Chinese guy bought PSP with memory cards, casings and accessories.
Another Chinese girl bought a huge printer.
Korean girl got a photo printer etc etc etc ....
I was so happy and excited.... I've forgotten to get the case...darn...
*i love the Jpnese government*
I'm learning Korean with it too...
Its not over yet.....
sensei treated us sushi!
sad to say, its my first time eating at sushi bar since I came here. cos there's no sushi bar in Gakuen !!
malas wanna put in the other photos la... not like they're reading this blog.
back in the uni...
Giant printer in the way... She got an iPod, i got iPod Nano.
I got iPod Nano, cos i was afraid the govt rejects the purchases and I had to pay in the end... owh well, its over.
We did so much shopping, I was 40mins late for class. So I entered from the back and sat at the last row. I don't get much chances sitting at the back so I took the opportunity to take photos. Here's how a typical lecture would look like here.

minus the plasma tv ... this is Engineering Faculty... classes held at Agric Fac uses smoke and vege
heck... even the main notice board in this building isnt a board... its a plasma tv !

i want some more sushi...
* the war is still on...

free shopping???!!! Nani????!!!!!!! Damn lucky. Why doesn't the British gov have schemes like that here?? dammit! I knew i went to the wrong country!!!!!
well... i guess i can say this is one of the things i get after all the hard times i went thru just to enter a jap univ... and keep this within 4 frames... i have a feeling they're doing some sorta compensation for colonizing and being evil to so many asian countries... almost every korean student here has a scholarship scheme...
and dont worry... UK will do something somehow..haha
