KL's a hole

jap mind  Remember this lovely map? click here if you've forgotten or haven't read bout it.

today, I'll talk bout it further... this is gonna be interesting.

So I went to the travel agent's office located inside the university bookstore to settle some stuff. While waiting, I picked up an itinerary - a travel package to Malaysia...

WHOAAAA  - MALAYSIA - TRAVEL PACKAGE !!! ... INSIDE THE TRAVEL AGENT'S OFFICE IN MIYADAI !!

*miyadai = miyazaki daigaku = uni. of miyazaki

(btw, I'll update on what I did over the weekend after I received the photos)

Since my first visit to this travel agent, I've been looking for this leaflet and this is the first time I come across a leaflet about Msia.

So I started reading the contents....I'm not gonna go into details since its all Petaling St, Eye on Msia and laksa.

A choice between Langkawi, Penang or KL, Price ranging from rm 1800 to rm 3600 for a 4 to 7 day tour.

Here's my point.

On the page about Kuala Lumpur; the heading goes - 今、注目のアジアの穴場

Translated as; The attention is now drawn towards Asia's excellent place not many people know about.

ok, fine...

The funny part I find is, the usage of the word 穴場 - anaba...

If you directly translate every character, it goes "hole""place"
Outside ... you see a hole, but its actually a place.

Get it?

KL's a hole from the outside...lol

Which means, ... I've been spending 18 years + inside a hole. I was raised inside a hole.

My friends came to play at my hole.. one from JB, one from Penang and one from Klang.

ahh... fun to play with words...
