beauty and disaster

unknown visitor of Saitobaru Burial Mounds

Skeleton of a woman in the burial mounds
Happy Halloween everybody...
I went on a bus tour organized for foreign residents in Miyazaki. The main purpose was to let us experience some natural disasters, and later, a trip to the burial mounds of Saitobaru.
First lesson : smoke is the main killer, not the fire...
"smoke house?" .. i don't know what is it called in English Language but it looks a bit like a haunted house in a theme park.
It is a maze with a few locked doors... only with smoke...
Second lesson : ambulances and fire trucks are life saving machines...
Honda, Toyota, Hino are used as rescue transports ... (no form of advertisements here)
Then halfway through explaining, there was a real emergency (not that someone had to poop at the toilet) ... and they had to drive the ambulance away.
and our first reaction after the bell was ... is this part of the explanation??
Note : koutsuu jiko = road accident
Third lesson : you can laugh now but when the real thing comes... you'll cry...
omg.. look at how neat those slippers are...
this is an earthquake simulator ... this is my second time riding it... but... i find a theme park ride much more fun...
this is a clip of how it goes... the quality's a bit poor cos i was using the compact mode.
Fourth lesson : Fire station has Nintendo Wii too...
and that man placed me in charge of starting the fire... for once, i could be a bad boy...
and while the adults are being trained, the kids were playing outside...

Father's a Swiss, mom's a Japanese.
Russell Peters (a comedian) said, "The world is all mixed up and soon there will only be one colour. French marries a Greek and gets a Freak...Icelandic man marries a Cuban lady; ice cube..."
so, this is a Swiss Pan!! >>>
stolen from Google.com
Here's a phamplet which I received from the fire station and disaster training center.

If I remember it right, Shin Chan lives in Saitama.
After that, we headed off to Saitobaru Burial Mounds ... my 3rd time here... first time was nothing... then...

just behind the mountain range is Kumamoto prefecture.
it was soooooooooooooo HOT !!! and the sunlight was de-hydrating me like mad...
we had a quiz in the bus on the way back and i was wishing that the prize was a bottle of water ...

photo of me !!.... obviously the one on the right...
