A horrifying experience

It is a true story... i swear it is true... no MSG added... (MSG = mostly silly good-time-crap)
You can choose to read it when the sun or moon is shining...
It is considerably long, but i guess it is worth reading if you're bored...

I had to buy a refill for my hair mist the other day and there is no place in Gakuen (where i live) which sells them. The closest is in the town next to Gakuen.

I opened up a map on the internet and checked out the directions. Remembered them.

So I had to cycle for around 6km one way to get there. Things I do for saving money and at the same time, look good... 'refill for hair mist'...lol.....
6km is like Taman Midah to Bukit Bintang (sorry to those who are not familiar with KL) ...

I left at 6pm ...

It is autumn now, the daytime gets shorter and the temperature plunges as it gets darker.

Note; Japan denpends on nuclear power (not 100%). So, due to that fact, having no streetlights in certain areas is not uncommon here.

That means, the only light I could depend on that evening were starlights as well as my bicycle lamp which is kinetically driven. So I cycled along the roads, with a few cars passing by every 1 to 2 minutes <-- that is a long time ya know...

I cycled and cycled... passed through a forest... down the hill...
whoooo... i finally saw some light... University Hospital... turned right....

.....

lights again!! ... petrol stand.... turned left....

.....

The brightest ever!!  ... Family Mart (convenience store) ...turned right...

.....

along a road with paddy fields on both sides... (everything is black in colour at this hour)

*dum dee dum dum...*

cycle......cycle.....

.....

uh oh... T-junction... I dont recall seeing this on the map?!!

I was supposed to cross a bridge at one point, then reach a traffic light. I can't see the river cos it was so dark and I couldn't hear the river flowing cos rivers here are soooooooooo wide... (because I'm near the sea remember?)

No more lights cos I had to stop my bicycle. Kinetically driven lamp, remember?

Ok, waited for a car or a scooter to pass by and shine at the roads. (scooters are more commonly used here)

....And so came a car coming from the front.... ooo... its the bridge!! .... its coming from the bridge...

uh... i sensed someone's presence... turned my head right...

ARRGGHHH!! ..... WHAT THE ???!!!!!! ...

4 scarecrows...
more like scaredrivers... stood up high next to me .. just an arm's length away...with banners held in their 'hands'

ok, here's a comic to give you a clearer picture ...

wouldn't it be better if i filled black onto the canvas in MS Paint and paste it here ?

IMG_2375  < --- i waited here ... car came and shone ...

I've been next to these things for so long and i didn't notice until the car lights shined at them !!

.

.

.

.

.

.

ish!!.... He's the chosen Mr Miyazaki!! ... ahaha..... nah... they're asking you to put on your seatbelts... don't drink and drive...

good thing i wasn't robbed or molested by these scarecro... uh..... scaredrivers...

weird japanese people.... but funny...

This is not my first time cycling in this darkness... but I will never do it in Msia...but still, I was on my bike, right next to these things...
