Miyajima Fireworks
( Save the best for last ... in fact this was the first highlight of the trip... )
This entry sums up my summer trip to Hiroshima and Okayama ...
This is the event which made the trip start early...
In fact, this was the best i guess...
After waiting 4 hrs for Calvin's arrival in Hiro stn (i lepak-ed for 4 hrs) ...
Went to Miyajima with a biiiig crowd.... waited 3 whole hours under the hot sun ... sitting on hot concrete ... disturbed by kids who knocked our heads literally...
and...
It has finally started ..!!
Miyajima on-the-sea fireworks display...
it was supposed to look like this though, if you get a good seat... (took that from the banner)
Photos of the show.... just kept on snapping and snapping non stop...
I love my camera...
Took sooo much photos, I can even construct my own comic strip with it !!
the end... (for the comic) ... here are some more ...

If you're curious, here's a video to show how the smiley faces as well as the hearts were blown up
(videos courtesy of Calvin)
in the video above, towards the end...
guy commented, "ohh! i wanna be in the center!!" .....
the girl : "yeah me too" ...
together : "hahahaha"
this is the best part ... i missed it on camera therefore you should see it in video ...
you can skip the first part and start from (00:37)...
Here are some lessons to learn...
When you wanna choose a good spot to watch a fireworks display...
1. Make sure there are no teenage girls around you.
(they'll just say ntg but sugeh! sugoi!! ... yabai!! yabeeh!!! ... kirei kirei kirei!!! are kawaii!!! .... but come to think of it, they're quite funny actually...)
2. Make sure there are no young infants belonging to ignorant parents around you.
(they'll drive you nuts)
3. Make sure there are no smokers around you.
(they'll shorten your life)
the end...
