ATTN : shoppers

First of all, Happy Birthday to my dad!

Sorry for not being your birthday present 19yrs ago. I decided to come out early cos i wanna see the world so badly..haha

Anyway, back to the story ...

(no shopping spree involved, I just asked for a bag and they really gave it to me for free!!)

There's no doubt girly girls love shopping. Its nature...

They can complain while walking 100 steps inside a forest.
They can complain even if they walk a million steps inside a department store...

why complain inside a department store you ask?

they walked 1 million steps but still can't get what they want... that's why they're complaining...

 ''baby blue or pink?" ...

here today, i introduce you just one place specially made for girls (i think)...

department store.

well you may be familiar with names like Takashimaya, Jusco, Sogo or Isetan already.
Above that, here they have Mitsukoshi, Daiei, Marui, Yamakataya, Daimaru, etc etc etc etc etc ~~~~~~~~

This is Isetan at Kokura (first big city you arrive at after entering Kyushu by train)

This Isetan has 7 floors ( 6 floors selling girly stuffs, half a floor for kids, another half for men).
The upper 7 floors, I'M mall... another 2 and a half floors for girls.

_____

I was at Kokura in Kitakyushu the other day on my way back to Miyazaki.
I bought breakfast from Isetan.

If you wanna know what happened, here's the story...

Opening time was 10am. I waited outside... At 10am SHARP... SHARP  ( the clock was 10:00:00 ) , they opened the door...

I walked in, the 2 managers and the guard who stood by the door gave a 45degree bow and said "Irasshaimase~"
(seriously, that was scary)

then i walked in towards the supermarket inside...

as i walked along this kinda aisle...

(photo stolen from Google.com)

Those ladies and men immediately stood at thier counters nicely and bowed 45 degrees saying "Irasshaimase~~"

Aaaaaallllll along the way until i reached the supermarket...
(Its like you've taken drugs, and see flowers bloom on both sides as you walk past them...)

______

Its the same for Sogo when we were about to exit during their closing time....
Aaaaaalll the way on both sides of the aisle, you'll see people bow down to you saying "Arigatou Gozaimashita~~" until the door, so much so, a guy promoter literally RAN to the door to open it for us.

(that sounded more like ''aiya... faster leave laa" to me though)

Nice food = nice price (that's like RM50/bowl ; cheeeeeee sin)

(stolen from someone else's flickr)

This was what i bought for lunch   >

Well, Miyazaki isn't as kampung as I've described, or how you guys would have imagined...

Mind you, this Aeon mall is the largest in Japan.... right here in Miyazaki ... (1 Utama anyone?)

end

mich and zhiyi ... if you noticed, the member's card for jusco is Aeon right?.... same here... this mall is Aeon. ... just like this Aeon mall, i think 1U originally was Jusco's mall... aka a mall owned by the same company which runs Jusco. this Aeon also has a jusco.

cal, i'll try to figure out that breakfast thing...

wh; the drugs thing... hmmmmmm.... from tv

calvin... lets go to the dept store when it closes again..lol
